time flies..really fast. all of a sudden.. it's the end of an odd week! an even week is at sight.. and that indicates the start of a really hectic and horrible week! all my tutorials.. aRgh. someone save me sia.
today was a great sleeping day.. haha.. i didn't wake up until it was 1pm and boy did i feel good.. it's been a really really long time since i had a good long sleep.. haha. .though i woke up halfway due to a bad bout of stomach upset.. haha..must be the chocolate mudpie, cheesecake and orange juice i had at lips cafe yesterday night... it's a lethal combination.. definitely a no-go for those with a weak stomach. and no.. i did not finish all that by myself! i shared it with zhengmei.. if i were to finish all that up.. i don't think i can ever leave my bathroom. ever.
anyway.. that big big jacket chuan they all got for me.. i got it changed.. i needed a s size but the black colour one was out of stock. .so i had it changed to a brown one. haha.. somehow it changed the meaning as a birthday present.. but.. well.. hehe..
siva came over to nus on friday.. we had lunch.. no actually i ate before she came cuz i had to rush through my crime fiction readings and tutorial! my god.. i didn't declare it as a S/U option so man i have to study real hard for it. haha. but after that.. we went through the bazaar at central forum with chuan also.. argh.. so many nice stuffs to buy.. but i didn't have enough $$$! haha...but we had a great time chatting about so many stuffs at the steps over at the forum.. ah.. i've always loved quality time spent with friends...
after that i met up with my mum and my sis.. and managed to psycho my mother into getting me this very nice bag i saw at level one.. haha.. and prior to that.. i had a great dinner at the ramen-ten! their teriyaki beef don was marvellous.. hahaa..
haha.. it's a pain to not update daily and squeeze everything to one day.. argh..

saturday was however.. a BAD day.. i had a psychology test in the morning.. which totally sucked.. and i can foresee myself as the only one who's going to fail in the entire cohort.. how's that to start a birthday? and the whole day.. it just rained like crazy.. man.. dampened the whole celebrative mood! haha... orchestra practice was fine.. had to leave halfway for a psychology experiment.. which i totally screwed up cuz i end up having to have huiyi and kailing run around with me for i mistakenly remembered the wrong venue! argh.
met up with chuan, wan, shu, siva, nez and ben after that for dinner. actually wan didn't arrive only until 10+. dinner at jack's place was pretty good.. 'cept that i was slightly tired cuz i didn't sleep much while preparing for the test which i was doomed to fail. argh.. benjamin was also rather tired so he left early. haha.. almost immediately after dinner.. hmmm.. i must go back for the food again.. though the lobster bisque was a TOTAL mistake. ouch.
those guys got me a samuel & kevin jacket.. wow.. feels nice to the touch.. though it's wayyy too big.. i've gotta get it changed tomorrow.. shuhui and candy got me a pair of black dangling earrings.. look really cool and got that gothic feel.. wow.. nice..gothic chick sia. haa..thanks guys~
then yesterday.. i went out with hongjie, candy and qiaoyan. we met at harbourfront.. had pasta mania.. it was really fun.. been so long since i met up with them.. esp hongjie and qiaoyan.. candy and qiaoyan got me a black butterfly necklace and a ring embedded with black glass-like things.. i'm wearing it now.. looks really cool.. while hongjie got me a cake! haha.. he got me a cake eons ago as well. when i was in sec 2...while i bought him a muffin! haha... i promised to make him a BIG muffin next year.. haha... had lotsa fun talking... and eating.. and laughing.. trying out qiaoyan's v200 phone.. haha.. thanks so much people~~~
then i went off to a karaoke session with my siblings.. my bro can hold a tune surprisingly well... haha.. been so long since i last went to the ktv...
it's been so bustling.. i've almost forgotten my resolution to study consistently! thanks to the doomed-to-fail test i had.. it brought to light the fact that i need to study consistently~~~ hahaa...

and as i recall.. i've been over-using this phrase as my titles. if i'm not wrong, i must have used it like at least thrice. hahaha... i'm beginning to get the hang of playing my cello.. and i love my cello in nus! it's actually a spoilt one.. cuz the support rod at the end is stuck and can't adjust. but well.. it's at a comfortable height for me.. the fingerings are marked and just right for my hand.. best of all.. because it's considered "sub-standard"... no one's snatching it with mE! haha.. i just wonder how the hell i'm going to transport it when i go for performance.. and one day the support will just give way and break.. *sob*
well well.. busy week! it's my even week.. where all my tutorials come together.. except crime fiction. psychology.. chinese.. social work.. *phew*

zhengmei bought me a pretty blue necklace for my birthday! cuz she's gone to penang for an architecture trip and won't be around this saturday.. the pendant's made of glass and looks really special. unfortunately.. i have a reputation of misplacing accessories.. i lost the necklace she and zhiyun bought for me eons ago.. oops.. hehe. .so i promise i'll take care of this one!!!

after watching the show... it really makes me wonder.. is that someone actually always by your side? perhaps it didn't just apply to that particular two in this case.. but perhaps, everyone is just someone... waiting to meet up with another who's actually always been around?

i just finished the japanese drama
big wing that was running on scv channel 56. unfortunately... cuz i never could really remember it's running time.. i ended up only catching the last 3 episodes.. which happens ALL the time.. and i really wanna kick myself for that.
anyway...
big wing stars uchida yuki.. whom unfortunately i didn't really like.. thus my lack of enthusiasm to find out the running times and the so-cute-now-so-man kashiwabara takashi!! in case no one remembers.. he is the irie-kun from
itazura na kiss.... haha..
big wing is basically about the everyday work life of yoshikawa kumiko (uchida yuki) as a ground staff of the haneda airport in japan. her helpful nature.. which tends to overboard and beyond her duties often get her into trouble with the customer service manager, kuriyama ken (kashiwabara takashi... ah he look so good) who always scolds her "baka!" hahaa.. he does it really cute when he shouts with all his might. hehe.. so eventually... all her colleagues who disliked her at first became good friends with her.. and as if it never happens.. kuriyama of course sorta like fell in love with her... hahaa.. that's soooo arranged. haha.. but kuriyama's really cool.. and throughout all these years.. all the way from
itazura na kiss to this one.. that he-look-like-he's-smiling-but-not-really smile still is the same as ever!! hahaa...
some things never change. and now kashiwabara has great hair.. oh man.
i'm doing my own website.. using some ready-made templates.. i lack the skill and time to do one nice one myself. haha.. going to add some anime elements into it..

alice 19th (arisu 19th)
well now.. i'm SO into heroic, dreamy-looking guys... look above!! that's wakamiya kyou...someone i'm really in love with now. haha.. and the male lead of the comic
alice 19th by watase yuu sensei~~ this comic deserves special mention and credits...more into that laterah... ok so now i'm in this total story-telling mood...just like what i did for
neon genesis evangelion. so.. it's the same thing.. spoilers ahead.. stay with me if u're interested.. if not.. sayonara. haha..
seno alice is a normal schoolgirl... 15 years old who's carrying a torch for wakamiya kyou (who wouldn't?!), a senior in her school. her elder sister, seno mayura is in the same archery club as kyou.. and... as if it's new... she's also in love with kyou! surprise! duhz.. anyway... kyou, being someone who's really slow at such things, is unfortunately not so clear about his own feelings but decided to date with mayura. alice of course is really really sad when she heard about this.
earlier... alice, who had always wanted to keep a pet but was unable to because mayura's allergic to fur, saw a little rabbit in the middle of the road. when a car approached, she couldn't help but run out and save that poor thing. she however ended up being unable to run away in time.. but kyou managed to save her just in the nick of time (kyou!! oh my god). that night... that rabbit suddenly transformed into a little cute girl with bunny ears.
she made known that she was nyokeza and had come to look for a lotis master.. someone who has the pure heart to summon a series of 24 words and battle the evil. at first, alice thought she was seeing things but eventually she accepted it and found out that because of her act to save the rabbit, she had already acquired the ability to summon
courage.
after mayura and kyou went out for a while, mayura realized that alice also liked him secretly and that kyou might be realizing that he likes alice instead... after a confrontation, alice got so angry.. she screamed at mayura: "if you would just disappear!!" .. and indeed, she did! nyokeza explained that she was brought into her own Inner Heart and was consumed by it.. alice was very regretful and promised to save her using her power as a lotis master.
it was then realized that kyou was actually a lotis master as well. in their first battle against the inner heart of a guy who liked alice in a very possesive way... they managed to use their powers to defeat him. after a victory, a fellow lotis master, frey appeared out of nowhere and suddenly declared alice to be his future wife. frey was a very cheeky guy but quite a powerful lotis master.
mayura, who was very much living in the darker end of her inner heart then came back and appeared to be very normal. but she was actually threatening alice to stay away from kyou as far as possible. well.. by this time.. kyou had finally realized that alice was the one whom he truly liked.. he was however unknowingly cursed by mayura , which will kill him if alice ever confess his feelings to him(what a lame curse.)... alice who was by his side crying after knowing about the curse ran away but kyou grabbed her, confessed his own feelings first and kissed her! ooooh... watase sensei draws the nicest kissing scenes. haha...
unable to reciprocate his feelings, alice started to avoid him and when one day, he asked her about how she felt.. she said she forgotten.. then kyou kissed her again!! hahaa... man.. i'll do anything to get someone like kyou to kiss me.. hahaa... and said: "i'll never forget what happened..." (goodness... next time i'll get the japanese dialogue up here.. it's damn nice. haha). she was really tempted into saying out but ... then he felt pain in his chest.. and once again, alice can only cry and run away.
eventually, they realized that they will have to fight mayura and the maram master, who's the most evil of all.. with new partners like a really cute boy who's serious but goes ga-ga when he sees snacks, William something something something.. (he's of royal blood.. so he has a REALLY long name), meiling from china and bill from america.. together they have to face their own dark side and struggle to get out... nyokeza died though.. sad..
so finally... after defeating the maram master...everything went back to normal! mayura woke up and was no longer obsessed with kyou anymore.. and finally she could tell kyou she liked him.. then kyou said: "i like you too." and it's another beautiful kiss again....
haha.. why does this deserve credits? haha.. because i seldom read shoujo comics..given that i like action and too much romance just slows down everything and act as a very burdening sub-plot. this one's quite fine.. the romance part between kyou and alice didn't get too carried away and the one between frey & alice was never too detailed.. which brings me to my other reason for crediting it... it's short enough to not be as absurb as watase sensei's
ayashi no ceres. sorry fans.. but..
ayashi no ceres had a good plot at first.. then as it went longer... it became way out of point.. maybe it's just me .. but i just think that eventually it's just crap. oops..sorry again.. and
alice 19th doesn't have any sex scenes! haha.. ok perhaps they were too young. haha.
well at first, the swooning kyou may seem really like a jerk.. when he explained that he was actually unsure of what was going on when he first went out with mayura. that made me wanna kick him but then his devotion to alice after that was pretty much touching. when everyone in school harassed alice, saying that she was so mean to her own sister by snatching her boyfriend, kyou was very angry and snapped something like..
i was the one who liked her first, so if anyone dare touch her, i'll show no mercy... wow. i love it when heroes snapped. also there was when mayura was trying to diminish his affections by saying that alice didn't like him and things like that... then kyou said something like ...
i know, she said she didn't feel anything for me but it's ok. because i will still like her. oh man.. *melt melt melt*. if this is being adapted into an anime.. i REALLY hope ogata megumi-chan will be kyou's seiyuu...the fact that megumi-chan is a lady with a mid-range voice adds gentleness yet prince-like touch to the character.. haha..
also... the story is suspiciously similiar to
cardcaptor sakura, another personal favourite because of tsukishiro yukito.. hahaa... with the lotis master and everything.. and .. in terms of look, alice = aya, kyou = yuuhi, frey = tooya, mayura = suzumi and nyokeza = chidori, except cuter. so if anyone, like me, who's feeling bitter because aya never did end up with yuuhi.. here's the chance to feel more balanced. hahaa..

.... wasn't exactly a party. but was a surprise.
today, liling, yingyi, huiyi, zhiyun and i met up for lunch... sushi! ok.. i think i'm having an overdose of sushi over here... in an attempt to be as jap as possible.. it's going out of hand! well.. then after that.. we wanted to watch

legally blonde 2 back to back these two days.. ok.. actually i watched the sequel first...and i watched the first one after that so that i can see more of luke wilson!! haha.. he's really cute... haaa..and droolsome! hahhaa.. and i realize i'm watching movies for all the wrong/unimportant reasons...
yesterday, huiyi and i had to prepare tea for the orchestra. god.. it's not easy preparing food for so many people with a pathetic budget of 20 bucks. ooooh. end up, we didn't have much food.... and the goreng pisang we bought? man... it made me swear off goreng pisangs for a very very long time. i took it because zhengmei, who was supposed to cut them up didn't do a good job. that senior of mine... whom i'm a little afraid of ever since he asked me why i didn't turn up for orchestra practice... was using his hands to "cut" the goreng pisang into smaller ones... end up he offered me a piece.. and man.. the rest is history. i'll NEVER eat goreng pisang again... or at least not from that market!!
well well.. i'm meeting liling, yingyi and zhiyun for lunch in a while.. too bad zhengmei can't come..
