i've just came back from a very very very disturbing movie... dawn of the dead with candy, qiaoyan and xiao di. it is very sad that i've probably watched only like.. what.. one-quarter of the movie? haha...
it's totally gore and blood. less blood than kill bill definitely... but totally ten times more gross.. why? i think it's cos everyone of them look 10000 times worse than anyone who got killed in kill bill? hahaha.. pathetic... and the story is bad. at least kill bill is about killing bill.. you know? there's an ultimate aim to this whole blood spree... but in dawn of the dead.. people just got infected by the virus and start biting each other. okie.. literally sink their teeth into one another. then u die.. then u get revived into one of them.
the whole plot is clueless.. where did the virus come from? how did it come? what is the ultimate aim of this whole biting thing? why did half the population disappear from one exploding gas canister? why is the bimbo a redhead? or plainly.. what is wrong with everyone?
haha.. okie.. bad movie. i almost wanted to just walk out halfway cuz all the screaming and the skin tearing and the growling was getting on my nerves.. but the thought of my 8.50 kept me going. okie... since i only watched one quart of it.. my 8.50 is still pretty wasted.. but that's something else. haha..
enough of the gory details... after the bad experience in the cinema.. haha.. we went to lips (after much consideration and objection from xiao di. haha) for a drink.. haha.. food the whole day was not very well.. at least the service.
TCC at cine is bad. i mean.. totally bad. we sat there.. the waiter wanted us to give him a minute before he get back to us.. and we totally sat there unnoticed by any waitress there for what.. 5 minutes? okie. .seems like a short time.. but we have a movie going on in 30 minutes.. we totally have no time to lose. i finally got so fed up i just decided that we leave for fastfood. haha.. xiao di is totally impressed. haha.. then we went to bk.. and ended up i had to ask two caucasian guys to spare us the empty seats beside them. haha.. i always do this kinda thing i think. haha..
moral of the story.. the next time we meet for any movie.. we really need to meet like 3 hours before. hahaa..
and i realized i'm overusing the word "totally".
