it would have been another boring, event-less saturday if not for kailing's sms.. inviting me to a jam session held at her church, which is about ten mins away from my place. she told me there was going to be live bands playing at the church. well.. since i would have been spending yet another saturday night surfing and stoning in front of my computer, why not, i thought. so i jio-ed yuenling (kailing gave me two tickets).
we met up at great world first for dinner at kenny rogers. i love kenny rogers. i think a lot of people hate it and i don't know why! haha.. but i know 01s86 likes it.. we had quite a number of gatherings at kenny rogers.. esp. the suntec branch. lol...
after that we went over to st. bernadette church.
our entry pass... that entitled us to a non-aicoholic drink. and no prizes for guessing what i got.
candles and lovely lights! did you see that glowing pinkish light at the right? ingenious idea... they places glowing bulbs under the stand of a red lamp. LOVELY PINK. my camera took it nicely.
kailing told me the indonesian community's really active in the church. here's the indonesian outfit that was performing 'bengawan solo'! ahhhh. i love the song.. ever since i heard a chinese orchestra version of it when i was in secondary school.
kailing and i! i haven't seen her in years. i miss the days we had together at some of the most tiring classes... and dinner dates at spize.. T_T
after chilling out at the event for a while.. we made our way to starbucks.. because if i don't show up again (despite my promise), matty will kill me. haha. sooo christmas-y~! the toffee nut latte's up for sale again (STILL TOO SWEET) and the christmas tree is up~~ every decor.. from the cups to the sleeves.. from the lights to the music.. everything screams XMAS in my face...
